Meet Jim Easter - An Excerpt from the HFR 100 Year Anniversary Book

“Architecture is really a marriage of art, sciences and technology,” explains Easter. “I was intrigued by the science and technology side of things, but I wasn’t that talented on the artistic side. As I matured and completed graduate school, I decided that my forte really was on the front end of architecture where you ask a lot of questions and gather numbers, getting information together, and understanding the issues. I then became what my uncle, who was a hospital administrator, had really wanted me to be, which was more of an administrator of the delivery of healthcare, as opposed to the architect drawing up the building plans and creating the final design".....
